After 30 years in the British fashion industry, founder of Lemon Tree Design, Sue O’Kane is delighted to be designing stylish clothing that is Lemon Tree Design and Bossy B is proud to be an online stockist of the Lemon Tree brand.

Sue says, that she is inspired by quality fabric, textures and shapes that will translate into effortlessly wearable pieces - “It is what I dream of when creating every range.”

Lemon Tree Design, 3rd Generation

Sue has clothing in her DNA as she is a 3rd generation fashion maker and designer.  Her grandfather manufactured Kilts in Scotland and her father manufactured men and ladies wear for: Daks Simpson - Piccadilly,  Burton The Tailors, Aquascutum - Regent Street London.

She has continued the tradition by becoming a qualified fashion designer and garment constructor while living in the UK.  Her exceptional skills have seen her design for many of the High Street Stores in London such as Laura Ashley, Marks and Spencer, Next and Ted Baker to name a few.

Sue has also lectured in fashion at Newcastle College passing on her manufacturing and selling knowledge to her fashion students.  Sue then went onto start her own Mens Shirt design company in 1993 called Kowalski Limited Edition supplying independent Menswear stores around the UK.
